"Helpful integrations, but a little fussy at times"
When we first started using Sprout Social, I was relieved to see that it connected with most of the platforms we use every day, like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. It felt like we finally had one place to manage everything instead of constantly jumping between tabs.
After a while though, the little issues started to show up. Instagram has been the one that gives us the most trouble, usually with permissions or random reconnect prompts that seem to pop up right when you’re trying to get something scheduled quickly.

So overall, Sprout Social does what we need it to do, and the integrations are definitely useful. I just wish they felt a bit more reliable and less fiddly, especially considering the price.

"Mostly remember the price tag"
I tried Sprout Social for a bit, the main thing I remember is how expensive it felt. I’m sure there were some nice features in there that I’m forgetting, but a lot of the stuff I actually wanted seemed to be tucked behind higher-tier plans. For a small team like mine, it just didn’t make sense to keep paying that much when cheaper tools covered the basics well enough.

"And the analytics reports were a headache"
the analytics and reporting were frustrating for me. It took way too many clicks to get the reports I needed, a few of the numbers didn’t seem quite right, and exporting data was more annoying than it should’ve been. For what it costs, I expected the whole process to feel smoother and more dependable.

"Helpful inbox tool... just a little pricey"
SproutSocial has been really useful for keeping all my messages from different social accounts in one place. It definitely saves me time when I’m trying to stay on top of daily replies. Some of the filters can feel a bit clunky... like, they work, but not always as smoothly as I’d like. Overall though, it does the job well. I just wish it was a little cheaper

"Not great for team stuff"
Maybe I’m just not patient enough, but trying to collaborate with my team on this has been frustrating. Things feel buggy, and I keep getting confused about where everything is or what changed. I really wanted it to work, but day to day it just slows us down

"I thought this would be straightforward, but..."
I thought this would be straightforward, but I kept getting lost in all the menus. There are just so many places to click, and half the time I wasn’t sure if I was going in the right direction or just making things more complicated. Maybe I’m just impatient — I also get annoyed when a coffee machine has too many buttons — but it definitely didn’t feel as easy to use as I’d hoped

"Feels slower than what I’m used to"
I’ve used similar apps before, and this one just feels a lot less dependable. It tends to lag right when I actually need it to work, and most days it’s slow or glitchy enough to be frustrating.

"Scheduling should be simpler than this"
I mainly used Sprout Social for scheduling posts, it does the job, but it wasn’t as smooth as I expected. Sometimes posts felt slow to update, and the calendar got a little confusing when I was just trying to plan things out. For the price, I feel like the basics should be easier and more straightforward. It works, but I expected a cleaner experience.

"Pretty disappointing account support"
I was hoping this would be a quick fix, but support took way too long to get back to me and didn’t do much to solve my account issue. The whole thing just felt frustrating, and what stood out most was how little help I actually got.
